Books!! (How I spent my summer...sort of)

So this summer, aside from hobbling around my new pool, I rediscovered my romance with reading. On with my list.

Author: Patricia Briggs

Masques (an update of her first book)

Mercy Thompson Series:
Moon Called
Blood Bound
Iron Kissed
Bone Crossed
Silver Borne

Alpha and Omega Series:
Cry Wolf
Hunting Ground

A fun supernatural series, that added a new perspective on the world around us....and fairytales!!

Author: Charlaine Harris

Sookie Stackhouse (True Blood) Series:

Dead Until Dark
Living Dead in Dallas
Club Dead
Dead to the World
Dead as a Doornail
Definitely Dead
All Together Dead
From Dead to Worse
Dead and Gone
Dead in the Family

I really enjoyed these books. Much more than the HBO series, which tries to do them justice, but misses the mark. If you have never read the books, the series is fantastic!!

Author: Janet Evanovich

Stephanie Plum Series

One for the Money
Two for the Dough
Three to Get Deadly
Four to Score
High Five
Hot Six
Seven Up
Hard Eight
Visions of Sugar Plums, Holiday novella
To the Nines
Ten Big Ones
Eleven on Top
Twelve Sharp
Plum Lovin', Holiday novella
Lean Mean Thirteen
Plum Lucky , Holiday novella
Fearless Fourteen
Plum Spooky, Holiday novel
Finger Lickin' Fifteen
Sizzling Sixteen

There are more books, and I will list them soon.Though sometimes painfully predictably stupid, I did enjoy the Stephanie Plum series. Now that I have heard that Katherin Heigl is playing the main character, I am unhappy. I think she sucks as an actress and will in no way, shape or form do justice to my minds picture of this brash Jersey Girl. Producers get a fail, and I will not be seeing the movie.

I cannot believe that it has been more than a year since I have posted. Life really does happen!!!

There have been so very many changes. My grandmother is gone and I miss her. My mother is going through health and employment problems, and I wish I could miss her. I can't she is always here. Always. She is surly, critical, self absorbed and better than you. Don't be offended. She is better than me, too. Just ask her!

I guess I will be trying to get back in the saddle. Writing, dieting, etc....

Hope you have been well.
